My sincere apologies to anyone who was upset by the segment on The Morning Show this morning.
My position is that I do not endorse or support puppy farms.
Prior to my arrival on set this morning, I was not aware that puppies were involved in the segment. My understanding for todays segment was that adult dogs would be on set and that we talking about why we are 'humanising' our pets and whether it is dangerous or not.
I was not aware that the segment would be promoting or crediting any pet store and I reiterate that I do not support puppy farms.
I have asked The Morning Show for an opportunity to clarify this situation.
Please be assured that the welfare of animals is always my priority
